Hello !!

Consistent Self Care Routines

I have been noticing this rush I carry.  Noticing it on a deeper level than usual and before I sat down to write this email I decided to take a walk with my dog in the sun to get clear on how I would connect with you.

As soon as I sat down to write I noticed an article that inspired me about resistance and thought I could include it.  It actually threw me off course as I started rushing again.

I decided to stop and get back to the content at hand, what you all have been asking for within the survey I just put out (if you haven’t filled out for the survey you can do so at the button below, when you do you will be entered in a drawing to win a 1:1 session with me!)

This rushing stops people from truly connecting and I catch myself doing it too.

What does slowing down have to do with self care routines? My walk is part of my self care.  A way I slow myself down when I know things are feeling rushy.

There is not one size fits all for self care routines. It is what works for you.

In my life, a morning self care routine works the best because it fits into my schedule.  It is the time of day that no one is asking much from me.  It is my time to start the day slowly.

I want you to figure out what works for you.  What makes the self care routine stick is having reminders.  Having a reminder somewhere in your house of what you are trying to do.  I use a check off list on my fridge to help remind me. (click here to get your check off list)

Self care could be 1 minute of breathing. 1 minute of stretching. 1 minute of meditation.

The thing is once you start these self care routines after some weeks you will see how easy it is and how much of an impact they actually have on your day.

After years of a morning self care routine I have built it to be anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour.  When I do it I am way more productive and energized during the day.  When I don’t my focus is out the window.

When my day is super jammed packed. 5 minutes is enough.

You choose what fits you.

It doesn’t have to look like anyone else's routine.

Just aligned enough to give you the ease you want in your life

Send me an email and tell me - what is one thing you do just for yourself?  Even if it’s just small.  Even if you think it doesn’t count.  I want to know.

With health,
