My first podcast & the patterns we keep repeating

Lately, I’ve been hearing a common thread in conversations with clients—frustration, overwhelm, and recurring patterns that feel all too familiar. You know the moments:

when someone won’t stop talking, when you attract people who don’t treat you well, or when your bank account is always empty.

Here’s the powerful reframe I keep returning to—borrowed from the teachings in Radical Forgiveness:

What if this moment isn’t just happening to you… but for you?

Life is always reflecting back to us how we think and feel about ourselves—even the parts we’d rather not look at. These tough situations might actually be mirrors, showing us hidden beliefs or old wounds still asking for our attention.

So the real question becomes:

What is this situation telling me about how I see myself?

And even deeper:

Can I meet this reflection with compassion instead of criticism?

When we pause and ask how a frustrating moment might be offering us wisdom, we open the door to empowerment. This is how we turn pain into clarity and begin to love ourselves more deeply and honestly.

Keep listening. Keep asking. Keep choosing love—even when it’s messy.

Let me know what resonates with you—I’d love to know.

With heart,Catherine
