Perspective from a Lemonade Stand

Dear Lovely ,

Have you been crushing your to-do list lately... but noticing your shoulders inching up toward your ears? Is your jaw tight, your breath shallow, your joy... missing?

Maybe it’s time for a little perspective shift—one that comes straight from a 9-year-old entrepreneur with a lemonade stand and a whole lot of wisdom. True story.

She made a to-do list for her first market day. It included everything you'd expect: lemons, sugar, a table, some napkins. But two things stopped me in my tracks:

✨ Have fun 👗 Wear a cute outfit

I mean... can you even?! When did we stop putting that on our lists?

We get so caught up in the hustle and the “adulting” that we forget—joy is part of the job. Fun is a frequency that shifts the whole day.

So here’s your invitation: Close your eyes. Picture your 9-year-old self. Ask them, “What sounds fun today?”

Wait. Listen. Trust the whisper or the sudden ping of inspiration—maybe it’ll come now, or maybe it’ll show up later like a giggle you didn’t expect.

And whatever it is—do it.

Dance in your kitchen. Get the fancy smoothie. Draw with chalk. Make a lemonade stand just because.

Most of all, honor that little child inside you. Let them play. Let them wear that cute outfit just because.

And if you need help reconnecting with that inner child, I’m here for you.

This is the heart of the work I love to do—helping you soften, return to your essence, and bring more joy into your every day.

With lightness and lemonade,

Catherine
