Getting to the root of pain
Hello Love,
Healing sometimes takes a village of practitioners, with each one sharing aspects that help you heal from the core.
Have you ever had a nagging pain or body tension that lasted wayyyy too long and chiropractic work, massage, and physical therapy couldn't touch it?
Are you looking for tools you can use at home within 5 minutes to relieve body tension?
Do you find yourself wondering why the heck your shoulders creep up around your ears when you just intentionally let them drop just 5 minutes ago??
Well I have just the gal for you!

Christine Curran is a Hanna Somatic Educator who is absolutely magical at leading you through simple movements to help your body release tension. Her work gets to the root of the pain because it is actually an educational process involving your brain's motor cortex. You are actually reprogramming ease in your body via movement!
This is truly deep work that helped alleviate some nerve pain I experienced a couple of months ago. I was hitting it hard with pilates core workouts and started getting this nagging nerve pain that wrapped around my last ribs to my abdomen. After one session with Christine and utilizing the homework (2 simple movements), the issue went away completely!
Another important aspect of her work is Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), which helps retrain your brain to end the pain-fear cycle. In addition to pain this technique can address anxiety, depression, nausea, dizziness, rashes and much more.
WHAT?!?! That's incredible!
I went in to Christine's office one day feeling close to burnout. Every cell in my body was angry and cried out for rest. My mind wanted to keep going though. The day felt heavy and I was trudging along. She led a beautiful PRT session which helped me process the anger. The rest of that day felt lighter and I was able to give myself the proper rest I needed instead of continuing to push through as my mind wanted.
Christine offers one-on-one sessions, group classes, and a vault of audio recordings you can follow along with to ease your body in her member center. She offers in-person sessions in Santa Fe along with online sessions.
